They don’t keep score here anymore.

Who knows how the last game ended? A called third strike, or maybe a walk off homer?

It doesn’t matter now except in some player’s memory of glory days or that time they couldn’t get it done.

Yet, the scoreboard stands as a reminder of what?

That it was just a game. That maybe, just maybe, it all is.

Play hard. Work hard. But have fun. Because, the game’s end is not the player’s end.
